Hi, my name is Dave Jackson and on June 9th 2026, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I had been struggling with blood in the urine since May 9th, so fortunately not for long, and finally after a procedure in High Wycombe Hospital I was told the dreaded news — which I now understand how it rocks people's world.

My Mum had bowel cancer in her early forties and then breast cancer in her seventies. Thankfully she is a two times cancer survivor. Good on you Mum! Let's hope I have got that same fighting spirit. Only the years ahead will tell, but I'm quietly confident I will kick this into touch.

It was on searching for a solution to not only keep everything together, but also to give our loved ones — those on the journey with you — access to those articles, our food diary, our appointments, medication and of course that uplifting playlist, that I built this app.
